Sigmatic Tuition Ltd (company number 14893069), 88A George Lane, London E18 1JJ ("we", "us") operates this website. This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, what data they collect, and how you can control them.
Cookies and analytics we use
We use two services to understand how visitors use this site:
- Google Analytics – collects anonymised data such as which pages are viewed, approximate location (country level), device and browser type, and how visitors arrived at the site. Google Analytics does not use traditional cookies on this site and does not identify you personally.
- Meta Pixel – collects similar page-view data and records when visitors click through to WhatsApp, so we can understand which pages and adverts are effective. Meta Pixel is provided by Meta (Facebook) and uses its own cookies.
Neither service is active until you give consent. When you first visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Decline. If you decline, or simply close the banner without choosing, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and no data is sent to Google or Meta.
Why we use them
This helps us understand which pages and topics are useful to parents and students, and whether our WhatsApp-based enquiries are reaching people effectively, so we can improve the site over time.
How to withdraw or change your consent
If you accepted and want to withdraw consent, clear your browser's cookies and site data for sigmatictuition.com (in most browsers: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data, filtered to this site), then reload the page. The consent banner will appear again, and you can choose Decline.
Other services on this site
Our "Login" button opens a student portal provided by TutorBird, a third-party service we use to manage lessons. If you choose to log in, TutorBird handles that data directly under its own privacy policy – we do not see or store your portal password. Our WhatsApp links open a conversation in WhatsApp itself; those messages are governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not stored on this website.
This site does not use any contact or sign-up forms, and we do not otherwise collect or store personal data ourselves.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what data is held about you, request its correction or deletion, object to how it's used, and withdraw consent at any time (see above). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), though we'd appreciate the chance to resolve any concern directly first.
